There are six recording studios across the city. Check the ideaLAB page for locations, hours, and tools available. The ideaLABs are free community makerspaces filled with technology and tools for you to use, as well as staff that can help you get started creating. Having trouble connecting? Check our guide or ask a staff member. Wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) is available in all library locations for wireless capable devices, no password or library card required. Our copiers now also allow you to fax for free! Please note that you can only send faxes, not receive them. You may also scan documents and send them to your email. Due to service contracts with the printer vendor, only paper supplied by the library can be used. Printing and copying is limited to 100 pages. We offer 8.5" x 11" (letter) or 8.5" x 14" (legal) sized printing. Copying, Printing, Faxing and Scanningįree printing from library computers or mobile print from your own device. The following can be found on all computers: Windows 10, Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Microsoft Office 2016 (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Windows Media Player, VLC, and more. Library Computer SoftwareĭPL computers have a variety of software installed on them available for patron use. Want a Chromebook to take home? You can check one out from our collection and pick it up at your local library. Please ask staff at your location about checking one out. In addition, all locations also have Chromebooks available for use inside the library so you can browse and print from anywhere in the branch. We also have workstations with special software and equipment for people with visual or physical disabilities at five locations. a variety of computer software for communication and media creationĮxpress computers are available for 15 minute sessions, no library card required.Use of public computers is subject to the DPL Computer and Internet Policy. Use a computer at any DPL library with a free Denver Public Library card. If you're interested in getting permanent free or low-cost internet and device at home, talk to a digital navigator or look through our list of resources for free or low cost technology.
